Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott (born 21 October, 1976) is an Irish film, television, and stage actor who portrayed Jim Moriarty on Sherlock. He won the 2012 BAFTA for "Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series" for the role, and the IFTA Award "Actor in a Supporting Role".

He received the 2005 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre for the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs production of A Girl in a Car with a Man and an IFTA award for the film Dead Bodies. In the 2015 Bond film Spectre, he plays a member of Whitehall called Denbigh.
