Risico will be the twenty-fifth James Bond film produced by Eon Productions. It will be directed by Justin Chadwick and features Daniel Craig in his fifth performance as James Bond. It is based on the 2000 novel Doubleshot by Raymond Benson.
The majority of the creative crew from Spectre is returning: in addition to Craig and Mendes, John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are also returning as screenwriters. The film received the worldwide release date of October 26, 2018. The film's title is derived from the was chosen from a short story in Ian Fleming's For Your Eyes Only collection.
